The Junior League of Florence hosted the Kids in the Kitchen Carnival on Saturday, March 27, at Magnolia Mall. The mission of the carnival was to emphasize to children and their families the importance of making healthy choices with diet and exercise, as well as engage children in preparing nutritious meals and snacks, in an effort to combat childhood obesity and its related health issues.
