The Junior League of Florence, Inc. has established the Leaders In Action Award to promote voluntarism and recognize young women interested in bettering the community.

Qualifications:
• Rising Senior from each area high school
• Well-rounded young woman respected by both faculty and peers for proactive efforts to better her community
• Genuine interest in improving the community and actively involved in that effort
• GPA of 2.5 or higher

Selection:

The recipient will be selected by faculty and staff members of their high school and presented a plaque along with a five-hundred dollar scholarship by The Junior League of Florence, Inc. Leaders in Action program honors young women in our local community who exemplify outstanding leadership.
